Re: EUFA Ballot
Got this today after I asked about transferring tickets...

Thank you for your email.

Tickets are for the personal use of the ticket buyer and their guest(s). They should not be transferred or sold to third parties.

However, as per the under 2022 UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE™ FINAL TICKETING TERMS AND CONDITIONS, if you and/or your guest(s) are unable to attend the match for medical reasons (including but not limited to medical reasons in the context of COVID-19), you will be able to transfer the corresponding ticket(s) to a friend or family member through the dedicated mobile app.

Note: tickets bought through the fan club programmes of the finalist teams will follow the principles of the participating clubs.

All sales are final, therefore tickets cannot be cancelled and refunded.

We thank you for your understanding.

Best regards,

UEFA Ticketing Customer Service

Re: EUFA Ballot
Hi all,
First off want to wish you guys luck tomorrow. I’m a Rangers fan and hoping for a British final. I’m a season ticket holder at Rangers and hoping it happens. Got 2 tickets for final and should we not make it and West Ham do I’d be happy to transfer them to a West ham fan. I’m in the hunt for 2 more, not sure if anyone who was lucky in the ballot would be willing to sell me their tickets in the event only Rangers make it? Would mean I could take my kids.

Anyway, hope you dont mind my post. All the best tomorrow.

Re: EUFA Ballot
Dan - I am sure originally the UEFA portal said the draw would be made on the 5th with winning entrants notified on the 6th.

I haven’t had an email from them saying I am unsuccessful but in the portal it says I am.

Feels to me like for some reason they’ve run the ballot ahead of schedule.

“ There will be some fans that don’t pay for their tickets, these tickets may be offered to fans that were unsuccessful in the random draw.”

I wish they would say on what basis. Another ballot? First come first served? Are we assigned a position in a queue based on the first ballot?

We regret to inform you that, as a result of the random draw, your ticket application for the UEFA Europa League™ Final has not been successful. Gutted

Unsuccessful.

Cunts!

Do we need to do anything extra to be in the extra ballot for unsold tickets, or just sit tight and wait and hope?

Taken from my email:

We regret to inform you that, as a result of the random draw, your ticket application for the UEFA Europa League™ Final has not been successful.

There will be some fans that don’t pay for their tickets, these tickets may be offered to fans that were unsuccessful in the random draw.

Re: EUFA Ballot
It's pretty simple - those successful in the ballot are given the option to pay for a ticket. If their team doesn't make it then they can choose not to pay and thereby not take up that option. I know that people like to be slighted and needlessly angry about things but this really has nothing to do with lack of care or wilfully encouraging touts.

Anyway, unsuccessful here but know of two mates who weren't. If we make it past EF then fingers crossed for the re-ballot of tickets that aren't taken up and then if not lucky in that, I'll hope I have enough points so I won't have to watch in a Seville bar.

Just hoping Red Bull go through so 1000 of additional tickets will be available

Seems to me the way they do this opens up the door to touts getting tickets from the fans of the two teams who don't make the final.

So the ballot won't reopen on Friday?

Re: EUFA Ballot
I was unsuccessful in the ballot. Not too fussed as me and my brother got 70+ points so we will get either way if we get there. But I was hoping to get for my Dad who has had a season ticket since 1993. He unfortunately only has like 10-15 points as he stopped going way games due to age.

Hopefully a load of tickets come back from Frankfurt and possibly Rangers if they get knocked out.

I got 2 tier 1 tickets....very surprised TBH.

Before anyone asks, yes Im a West Ham season ticket holder and not a tourist/armchair fan.

Re: EUFA Ballot
Agreed Fonz.

Was a little bit stricter due to covid and matching against covid result but yes you could change the name against the tickets or transfer if needed.

If it is anything like the Euro's then when you get the tickets anyone will be able to use it. No-one checked names against tickets in the Euro's.

Re: EUFA Ballot
I was under the impression that if your application was successful then everyone in your group would be offered a ticket but that’s not the case.

Re: EUFA Ballot
It seems that they haven't got to pay until Friday. Perhaps a modicum of common sense being used.
